CLASSICS ON CONTEMPLATIVE PRAYER

We will be instructed in Contemplative Prayer by the best teachers. The evening includes Lectio Divina and two 20-minute sessions of contemplative prayer. We will also view a 20-minute segment of Fr. Thomas Keating’s DVD series, Heartfulness: Transformation in Christ and engage in good spiritual reading on contemplative prayer between sessions. Donation: $75, includes book

THE THREE STAGES OF PRAYER

Do you sometimes have the awareness that your prayer could be fuller or deeper or “more” somehow but you can’t quite “get there”? A Centering Prayer retreat invites you to go more deeply into the silence and stillness, which facilitates growth in Contemplative Prayer and real attentiveness to God’s Word.
