THE PRACTICE OF LETTING GO

The season of Autumn is our teacher. Life provides many opportunities to let go of our attachments to belonging and security, affection and esteem, power and control. ENTERING CHRIST’S PRAYER

9 Tuesdays from Sept. 23 to Nov. 18

 1:00 – 2:15 PM  

I am really excited about this because we will be entering right into the heart of Christ’s prayer and His relationship with God. You will come to know Jesus more deeply and personally by accompanying him from birth to resurrection during these weeks of prayer. We can never go wrong contemplating Jesus! Requirements: an hour for prayer daily and attendance at every Tuesday session.  Donation: $120 (includes book).

If you need or desire a retreat but simply cannot get away, please give yourself the gift of this retreat that invites you to pray with Scripture each day using the format of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius.  We will meet monthly for sharing and input on the next month’s prayer.  Love Offering

We continue our study of St. John of the Cross this year using a combination of his maxims and the Ascent of Mt. Carmel, along with Ascent to Love by Ruth Burrows, OCD. We will follow with Lectio Divina and Centering Prayer 2:30 – 3:30 for those who can stay. Donation: $150
